We recommend engaging in appropriate physical training, such as jogging or hiking, before departure to ensure you can fully enjoy the trip. The team is equipped with experienced professional guides and support staff, with a ratio of up to 1:4, ensuring that every member receives ample attention and assistance. All guides hold nationally recognized outdoor guide qualifications and possess experience in high-altitude trekking and first aid. During the trip, we will carry emergency equipment such as satellite phones and first-aid kits, and have developed detailed emergency plans. In specific sections like the Ninong Gorge, guides will particularly emphasize safety precautions to ensure your journey is safe while you enjoy the beautiful scenery.

What personal equipment do I need to prepare for the trek? Is there any equipment available for rent?

For your comfort and safety, we recommend preparing the following personal equipment: warm clothing (waterproof jacket and pants, fleece jacket, down jacket), hiking boots (waterproof, non-slip, high-top), backpack (30-40L daypack), trekking poles, headlamp, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal toiletries, and common medications. We have prepared communal equipment for you, such as 150L duffel bags (for luggage transport), single tents, and sleeping pads. Currently, we do not offer personal equipment rental services, so we recommend preparing personal equipment that meets the requirements for high-altitude trekking in advance. If you have any questions, the team leader will conduct an equipment check upon meeting and provide professional advice.

What are the accommodation and dining conditions like? Are there any special dietary arrangements?

During the trip, comfortable hotel accommodations will be arranged in Lijiang and Feilai Temple to ensure you get adequate rest before and after trekking. Upon entering Yubeng Village, we will stay in local characteristic guesthouses or use the single tents we provide, experiencing a more nature-integrated accommodation style. Regarding dining, we include meals at city restaurants, breakfast and dinner at mountain camps, and packed lunches for the day, ensuring balanced nutrition and energy replenishment. If you have special dietary needs (e.g., vegetarian, allergies), please inform us in advance when registering. We will do our best to accommodate you, but please understand that options may be limited in remote mountainous areas.

When is the best season to travel? What if we encounter bad weather?

The best seasons for trekking in Yubeng, Meili Snow Mountain, are typically spring and autumn, i.e., April-June and September-November. During these periods, the weather is relatively stable, rainfall is less, visibility is high, making it the best time to witness the 'Golden Sunshine on Snow Mountain' and for trekking. While vegetation is lush in summer (July-August), heavy rainfall during the rainy season might affect the trekking experience and safety. Winter (December-March) may encounter heavy snow blocking the mountains. If bad weather is encountered during the trip, the team leader will flexibly adjust the itinerary or activate alternative plans, such as changing trekking routes or accommodation locations, under the premise of ensuring safety, to guarantee your travel experience and safety.

We warmly welcome single travelers to join this Yubeng trekking trip! It's a great opportunity to meet new friends and explore together. Since our accommodations (hotels and tents) are primarily based on double or single standard rooms/tents, single registrants will typically be arranged to share a room/tent with a same-sex participant. If you prefer to enjoy a private space throughout the trip, you can choose to pay a single supplement, and we will arrange a separate hotel room and a single tent for you. Please consult customer service for the specific single supplement fee. We are committed to providing a comfortable and safe travel experience for every participant, whether you come alone or with companions.

To protect your rights, we have established clear booking and cancellation policies. We recommend booking as early as possible after confirming your itinerary to secure your spot. Regarding cancellations and changes, typically, cancellations made within a certain number of days before departure will incur a proportional fee as per the agreement, with the specific percentage depending on the cancellation time. For example, cancellations more than 30 days before departure might receive a full refund; cancellations within 7 days might incur a significant portion of the fee. Detailed cancellation and change policies will be provided upon registration, so please read them carefully. If the itinerary is canceled or adjusted due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government prohibitions), we will negotiate a solution with you to minimize your losses.

How are transportation methods arranged during the trip? Where is the meeting point?

The meeting point for this trip is Lijiang, Yunnan, and the specific hotel address will be notified before departure. After departing from Lijiang, we will use off-road vehicles as the primary mode of transportation throughout the journey, ensuring comfort and safety on mountainous roads. Off-road vehicles will be responsible for transportation in and out of Yubeng Village, as well as transfers between various stops such as Lijiang to Feilai Temple. At the end of the trip, we will also provide airport transfer service to Lijiang Airport. You only need to arrange your international/domestic transportation to and from Lijiang; all other transportation during the itinerary will be properly arranged by us, allowing you to travel worry-free.
