Question 1

What are the physical and experience requirements for the Yading Kora? Am I suitable to join?

Accepted Answer

The Yading Kora is a challenging, temple-level trekking route, covering approximately 80 kilometers and traversing ridges at altitudes of 4300-5000 meters, including multiple passes above 4700 meters. Participants need excellent cardiovascular fitness, strong physical endurance, and some prior outdoor trekking experience. We recommend regular physical training such as long-distance running or hiking before departure. Previous high-altitude trekking experience will be beneficial for acclimatization. This trip is not suitable for individuals with severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases, high blood pressure, respiratory issues, or pregnant women. Our guides will monitor your physical condition throughout the journey to ensure your safety.

Question 2

What safety measures are in place during the trip? What are the qualifications of the team leaders?

Accepted Answer

Your safety is our top priority. We provide experienced professional guides and support staff with a high ratio of 1:4, ensuring every team member receives ample attention. All guides hold nationally recognized outdoor guide certifications and possess high-altitude first aid knowledge and skills. The trip is equipped with satellite phones, first-aid kits, and other emergency equipment. We purchase specialized outdoor sports accident insurance for every participant. In case of severe weather or emergencies, the guides will activate contingency plans based on the situation to ensure your safety. Please always follow the guides' instructions.

Question 3

Question 4

What are the accommodation and dining conditions like? Are there arrangements for special dietary needs?

Question 5

What is the best season for the Yading Kora? What if we encounter bad weather?

Accepted Answer

Question 6

What information do I need to know about booking and cancellation policies?

Accepted Answer
